Tendrils No. 1 - is an exploration of frame by frame animation inspired by the abstract patterns, forms, and many tendrils found in some of abstract artist, Hilma af Klint's early sketch notebooks. The animation concept for Tendrils No. 1 was drawn from my master's thesis studies of Oskar Fischinger's visual music films. I hope to create several more of these tendrilly pieces as part of a series in honor of both af Klint and Fischinger's work - both of which were key to the emergence of motion design.
